What's
Provided
The 1,000 square-foot cabin includes two bedrooms
(sleeps seven), a full bathroom, and a mudroom. The
living room, dining bar, and kitchen combine to make a “great room.” The
structure is heated by baseboard electric heat, as well as a wood-burning
stove. A natural underground spring provides water to the cabin, as well
as to a frost-free
hydrant in the yard. Local phone service is provided and long distance
service may be accessed by calling card. There is currently no cellular
phone service
in the area.
Immediate
Cabin Area
A .6-mile-long gravel road connects the main ranch road with the cabin. You
can hunt and hike
immediately
outside the cabin doors. Wildlife is visible from the cabin and in the surrounding
forest and meadows. A small creek passes behind and beside the cabin. Fishing for
pan-sized brook trout is .6 miles away in Warm Spring Creek, while Cutthroat
trout, up to 24 inches, can be caught in small, but picturesque Castle Lake
-- after a scenic 2.5-mile hike.
